GOLF WARM UP ROUTINE
As we all know most of you have a day off to play golf. We have a coffee then go to the 1st tee and hope for the best. If the shot is a bad one then you think you are not playing well and that can effect your confidence for the rest of the round.

Here’s you new routine and I am confident that it will work wonders on your game and improve your 1st tee shots.

(1) Arrive 45 mins before you are due to play
(2) Have a coffee and check your tee times etc
(3) 30 mins before tee off go and get prepared, shoes on etc
(4) Spend the next 15 mins exercising and stretching (see program below)
(5) Spend 5 mins hitting balls in the net
(6) Spend 5 mins on the putting green
(7) Go to the tee 5 mins before tee off fully prepared to set off
(8) Hit a drive straight down the 1st fairway

EXERCISE PROGRAM



LEG & BACK STRETCH
· Feet shoulder width apart
· Lean over keeping back straight & knees straight
· Arms hanging down
· Hold for 30 seconds



ARM & BACK STRETCH
· Feet shoulder width apart
· Stretch arms over head
· Hands 8” apart on club
· Hold for 30 seconds



TURN WARM UP
· Feet shoulder width
· Put club under elbows behind back
· Set up as per correct golf set up - Lean over from waist and flex knees
· Turn back & forward 30 times



SHOULDER TURN
· Feet shoulder width
· Stretch arms over head
· Turn as far as feels comfortable
· Turn back & forward 10 times slowly
