By viewing an aerial photo of the hole on the colour computerised touch screen, the player simply looks at the automated readout of distance any blade of grass on the hole. No other GPS distance device in the world can offer this functionality, and perhaps that is why leading players and their caddies on the European Tour such as Darren Clarke use CaddyAid. Features Distances to key points The golfer firstly sees a true aerial photograph of each hole on the colour screen, and from this photograph they can clearly see their standing position via the golf GPS cursor. CaddyAid then instantly tells you the distance to key points such as bunkers, greens, ditches etc, be it to the front or to the back. Further more, as you walk around the hole, the respective distances change every second and your position moves on the screen, just as it does in your car sat navigation for example. Distances to any blade of Grass! But what if you do not want to know the distance to the key points, what if you need to pinpoint the distance to a particular blade of grass on the hole! CaddyAid already knows where you are standing via its global positioning system (GPS), so finding the distance to where you want to go to is easy. The golfer simply touches the point on the screen where they wish to be by utlising the aerial photograph. Once done the distance will be automatically calculated to absolutely anywhere on the hole in yards or meters, accurate to centimeters. |
